Fall Festivals in Phoenix

As summer fades away into the cooler fall, residents and return guests will file into Desert Shadows RV Resort for the fall and winter season. Our guests  love the temperate winters at our highly rated resort. The plentiful, spacious RV sites, furnished park models and many amenities offer residents the perfect place to stay for a weekend or for the entire winter. And with fall starting, there will be many festivals taking place in Phoenix.

October 3-27, celebrate fall with delicious food at the Schnepf Farms Pumpkin and Chili Party. The farms host this nearly month-long party every October, serving chili, cornbroad, roasted sweet corn and brownies. Pick out a pumpkin, take a hayride, shop at the country store or visit the kids area for fun rides, a petting zoo and rock climbing wall.

Celebrate Greek food and culture at the Greater Phoenix Greek Festival at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Community Center. The 53rd Annual festival will feature authentic food and drink, music, dancing and guided Cathedral tours. This festival takes place October 11-13.

And the Arizona State Fair starts October 11 and runs through November 3. This fair has been ranked as one of the best fairs in the Southwest by USA Today. Enjoy the Ferris Wheel, bumper cars, swing ride and more at the carnival. And dine on turkey legs, chocolate covered bacon and plenty of curious fried food on a stick. Events include a free concert series as well, with performance by Alabama Shakes, Billy Currington and many other artists.
